Full Itinerary
Day 01: Hanoi Arrival
Upon arrival, you are welcomed by the tour guide, then transfer to the hotel. Having dinner on your own.
Day 02: Hanoi city tour (B)
In the afternoon, join our half-day city tour to visit Ho Chi Minh complex and his stilt house, the One Pillar Pagoda, Ba Dinh square, President Palace (outside). After that, visit the Temple of Literature – The first university of Vietnam, which you can see yourself in traditional unique architecture and its history.
Later on, get a glance at the Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Opera House and the Old Quarter with 36 streets bearing names such as Rice Street, Silk Street or Paper Street to reflect the businesses originally carried on there from the 15th century.
Free time in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 03: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
This morning, head to Halong Bay. After check-in and security briefings, you will set sail, join us for a typical local lunch in the dining room or in the outdoor dining area. Be amazed at the stunning views of the bay and its magnificent limestone islets as we sail through the calm emerald waters. Exploring the bay on a kayak or comfortably capture the daily life of the fishermen on bamboo boat rowed by the locals.
In the evening, Enjoy the authentic Vietnamese menu for dinner and then relax or joining some activities: book reading, games, movies, and squid fishing
Day 04: Halong Bay – Hanoi – flight to Danang (B, L)
Greet the day with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay in the early morning. After breakfast, Explore the Amazing cave and find out how the cave was named Amazing.
As you come back to the ship, attend a short class of Cooking demonstration and you will have the chance to learn how to make spring rolls before an early lunch is served. Back to the wharf. Come back to Noi Bai airport – flight to Danang.
Day 05: Bana Hill – Golden Bridge (B, L)
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Sun World Ba Na Hills and have a full day entertain in Ba Na Hills. Firstly, take the cable car up to the mountains, enjoy the specular of Truong Son Mountains and most especially, the Golden Bridge – the new symbol of Danang thanks to its unique design and magical settings.
Next, you are free to wander around the Le Jardin Garden with various flowers or behold the architecture buildings at French village. Buffet lunch is included. In the afternoon, we take the cable car down and transfer to Hoi An. Check-in your hotel and spend the night in Hoi An.
Day 06: Danang transfer to Hoi An – Walking Tour (B, L)
After breakfast at your hotel, you will transfer to Hoi An – 30km from Danang city. Leave your luggage at the hotel, you will start to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge – one of the most iconic bridges in Vietnam dating back to the 18th century. Next up, visit Hoi An Tailors and get overwhelming trying to choose some of the most beautiful textiles. Following your trip with a visit to Cantonese Assembly Hall – one of the most famous historical buildings in Hoi An possessing a great historical significance. From here proceed to Old House of Tan Ky and Old House of Phun Hung to marvel at the exquisite architecture of ancient Vietnam remaining for centuries.
If time permits, today we will visit Gem Art Museum and the Central Market to soak into the local hectic trading activities.
Day 07: Hoi An – Flight to Vientiane (B)
Say goodbye to the enchanting Hoi An this morning to take a flight to Vientiane – the capital and the largest city in Laos. On arrival, enjoy a full day city tour to visit the most famous heritage sites in the city. Start the day with a visit to Buddha Park, a dignified destination where more than 200 statues filled with cryptic symbols. Next head to Wat Sisaket temple, the oldest surviving temples enshrining thousands of Buddhist images. Then we head for a visit Wat Prakeo to witness the fantastic Emerald Buddha image.
Highlight your city tour with a visit to Pha That Luang, an ancient temple dating back to the 1st century and has become the national symbol of the country that featured on Laos’ official seal so far. Finally, complete your sightseeing tour at Patuxay Monument, a war monument was built to dedicate to those soldiers who fought in the struggle for independence from France. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 08: Vientiane Departure (B)
Enjoy the last day in Vientiane with a visit to Lao Textile Museum, Ho Phra Keo, and Talaat Sao before departure. Thank you for making your trip with Go Indochina Tours!
