Day 1: Luang Prabang Arrival – Half Day City Tour (B/D)
Welcome to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, you will be greeted warmly and transferred to the hotel for check-in and relaxation.
After that, we start to explore the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre (Note: This Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre closed on Monday). You have ample chance to learn more about religious artifacts, traditional clothing, and daily working tools of Lao minorities
More interestingly, you also have a great opportunity to enjoy a spectacular sunset on the Phousi Mountain and see a nice panorama of the city. Then, we head to H’ mong Night Market to enjoy authentic Laos street food and buy unique souvenirs in the Laos traditional styles.
Transfer back to the hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 2: Luang Prabang City Tour – Kuang Si Waterfall (B)
Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast before visiting the morning market- a great place to meet the locals, enjoy authentic Lao food, and witness the people as they wander.
Next, we pay a visit to Vat Xieng Thong – one of the most significant of Lao monasteries and remains an important monument to the spirit of religion, colorful traditional art and royalty.
Travel to Kuang Si Falls – a spectacular turquoise waterfall. On the way, you will pass through beautiful rice fields and small villages dotted along the country road. Be ready to refresh yourself in many basins by taking a fresh swim.
Savor nutritious lunch before returning back Luang Prabang and explore the Royal Palace, which is known as the National Museum to get a deeper understanding of the long-lasting history and rich culture of the region. After that, visit Wat Mai, a stunning temple built in the 18th century. It is also the largest and most richly decorated of the temples in Luang Prabang.
When the sun begins to set, we transfer back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Pak Ou Caves (B, L)
After having breakfast in the morning , we will pick you up at your hotel by tuk-tuk to depart to the boat jetty. Then, we embark on the Nava Mekong (2 hours on the cruise). On the way, you will have ample chance to enjoy the dramatic yet peaceful sceneries as well as get a closer insight into the lives of rural people living along the river. We also stop at Ban Xang Hai village to savor Laos dishes on board.
Afterward, we transfer back to Luang Prabang (The cruise will take about 1.5 hours)
Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, we will pick you up at the boat jetty and then transfer you back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Luang Prabang Departure (B)
Enjoy breakfast and then you have free time at your leisure to stroll around shopping or relax and chill out at the hotel until being picked up to transfer to the airport to take your departure flight. Tour ends.
