Day 01: Hanoi Arrival – Explore The Old Quarter
Xin Chao! Welcome to Hanoi – the heart of Vietnam!
On arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by Go Indochina Tours guide and then transferred to check-in at the hotel. After a short break, you will leave the hotel for a short sightseeing tour around Hanoi.
Enjoy a short Cyclo ride around the Old Quarter with 36 streets bearing names to reflect the businesses originally carried on there from the 15th century such as Rice Street, Silk Street or Paper Street. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Leave Hanoi this morning to transfer to Halong Bay – one of the greatest natural wonders of the world recognized by UNESCO. After check-in and security briefings, you will set sail, first, savor a cozy typical local lunch in the dining room or at the outdoor dining area. Then blow your heart in the stunning views of the Bay and its dramatic limestone islets as we sail through the calm emerald waters. Exploring the bay on the kayak or comfortably capture the daily life of the fishermen on bamboo boat rowed by the locals.
In the evening, enjoy an authentic Vietnamese menu for dinner and then relax on the boat or joining some activities: book reading, games, movies, and squid fishing…

Day 03: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)
Today is a full day to explore the wonderful Halong Bay. Start the day with an exercise on the sundeck and view the breathtaking sunrise over the bay in the early morning.
After breakfast, make your first visit to explore the Amazing cave and find out how the cave was named Amazing.
Next up, join in our short cooking class to learn how to make spring rolls – a traditional dish of Vietnam. Later on, return to the wharf and take a drive back to Hanoi. The rest of the day gives you free time for shopping in the Old Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 04: Hanoi – Ninh Binh: Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (B)
This morning take a scenic 100 kilometers drive toward the south to Hoa Lu ancient capital of the Dinh and Le dynasties dating back to the 11th century. Here you will have a chance to witness some of the ancient ruins and tombs have survived for a millennium.
In the afternoon, make your way to Tam Coc (Three Caves) in Vietnamese, an area of natural beauty that is often referred to as Halong Bay on land. You will board a small boat and meander lazily down the river to the ancient caves. Be amazed by the limestone karsts jutting skywards out of electric green rice paddies, don’t pass up this chance to take beautiful photos. Later on, return back to the pier where your vehicle waits to take you back to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 05: Hanoi Half Day City Tour – Ho Chi Minh (B)
After having breakfast at the hotel, start the day with a visit to Tran Quoc pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake. From here, transfer to Ho Chi Minh complex and visit his stilt house, the One Pillar Pagoda, Ba Dinh square, President Palace (outside).
Next up, transfer to the Temple of Literature – The first university of Vietnam, in which you can marvel at the traditional architecture of Vietnam and learn about the country’s history.
In the afternoon, transfer to the airport to take a domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Upon arrival, meet our local guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel for checking in. Free for the rest of time. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 06: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh (B)
After breakfast, take a trip to My Tho, a scenic town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Here, embark on a sampan to cruise down the river to capture the beauty of the four beautiful islands including Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
Make your first stop at Unicorn Island for a short excursion to explore the country lane and observe the beautiful orchard gardens, enjoy tropical fruits, interesting folk song music which was performed by the local people.
Then ride a hand-rowed sampan through the Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside. You will also have a chance to visit the family business to see their honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
In the afternoon, time for Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Return to Ho Chi Minh City and Free time in the evening.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 07: Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel, you are free until being transferred to the airport for flight home with sweet memories and a great impression on your holidays in Vietnam. End of services. Thank you for making your trip with Go Indochina Tours!
